When jobs are scarce, young persons are more likely to be unemployed. Therefore, many young people are pushed into self-employment. There is a growing recognition that responsible youth-led development initiatives must be at the heart of tackling global environmental, economic, and employment challenges. More effective youth-led development policies and strategies are getting increased attention among governments and international organizations. To this background, Africa Philanthropy Network has proposed to host a webinar to discuss the role of African Philanthropy in creating an enabling environment for youth-led development.
The Role of African Philanthropy in Creating a Conducive Environment for Youth-Led Development.
