Join us for the webinar “Reimagining the added value of philanthropy in BRICS countries: lessons learnt from COVID-19”, organized by Russian Donors Forum and WINGS on 23 March 2021
Our economies have been vulnerable in the face of COVID-19, however the role of civil society and philanthropy has never been as outspoken as during these days. Philanthropy in BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) has proved to be invaluable in complementing government efforts, and demonstrated its ability to respond quickly and flexibly.
Leaders of BRICS philanthropies are coming together to reflect on the new agenda for philanthropy, emerging priorities for them as ecosystem champions and anticipated changes in BRICS & Global societies and civic space.
Date: Tuesday 23 March 11.30-13.00 UTC time
Chair: Benjamin Bellegy, Executive Director of WINGS
