Northern philanthropy, often instigated by diaspora communities, have enabled Third Sector Organisations in the South to flourish. Indeed, many organisations have become resource dependent on international philanthropic flows to fund their activities. Yet, increasingly governments are restricting these flows through regulatory and other activities, including a push for social entrepreneurship. In this webinar, panelists will examine the regulatory space within the Asia-Pacific and internationally to question what these restrictions mean for the future of Third Sector activities.
