Philanthropy can be an agent of transformation by strengthening the struggles of grassroots organizations through the joining of collective forces that create the common good, reduce inequalities and strengthen civil society and democracy.
This is the premise of the seminar Democracy, community philanthropy, social justice and human rights – 10 years of the Philanthropy Network for Social Justice.
The event will promote panels, thematic tables and workshops to address these themes and their fundamental importance for the guarantee of socio-environmental, human and democracy rights in Brazil.
It will include the participation of civil society organizations, national and international philanthropy ecosystem and other actors to debate and demonstrate the transformative power of social justice philanthropy.
The event will be held in a hybrid way, with the possibility of in-person and virtual participation.
