Peace Direct is organising Peace Connect – a global gathering of local peacebuilders and their allies, which will take place from October 13- 17 in Nairobi, Kenya. The aim of Peace Connect is to provide a space where local peacebuilders working on the frontlines of conflict around the world can learn from each other, build solidarity and strategise together. With 600 peacebuilders from over 50 countries expected to attend, this will be one of the largest gatherings of peacebuilding activists in the world and will be one of the largest events specifically designed for local peacebuilders.
