How do you turn a complicated relationship into a stable one?

“Complicated” is that stage of the relationship in which things do not connect, in which everyone has expectations, but does not have enough trust. There is potential, but it’s about working on the relationship. We want a relationship in which we know each other, we understand our expectations, we have common concerns, in which we feel that we give and receive, that we manage to build something together. In fundraising, the most valuable gift a donor can give us is his trust. And it is earned when we take care of the donor when we make him feel in a relationship in which he is valued and important. Every organization has a dream for which it fights and which is the motivation to do more every day. And the road to fulfilling his dream is a journey in which donors are his reliable partners.

This year we challenge you to transform the relationship with your donors and to be able to change the status from “it’s complicated” to “in a relationship”, at the National Fundraising Conference. What to expect this year at # CNF2021?

  • We start together in the donor’s journey and approach the topic of donor-centered fundraising, but we also talk about fundraising in times of crisis given the current context.

  • On May 11, Richard Turner and Adrian Lorentsson (Philanthropy and Fundraising International) will host a masterclass built around a fundraising approach that puts the donor at the centre of the organization.

  • On May 12-13, we will have two days of workshops/webinars.

  • The conference will take place online.

Save the date – May 11-13, 2021

We can’t wait to see you again at the National Fundraising Conference, in a safe way for everyone. Even if at the moment we still have to see each other online, the content of the event will be as current and practical as before.

We will also miss the coffee breaks and the face-to-face interaction with you, but we aim to make up for these shortcomings with dynamic sessions and great fundraising experiences.
