Using the SDGs to Act Locally on Global Challenges
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) provide a global standard for how we can measure progress in addressing community challenges, like climate change, poverty, and violence against women. This webinar will offer advice to leaders of the social sector and philanthropy on how to take concrete actions at the local level that advance the SDGs.
This session will:
- Inspire you to embrace the use of the SDGs in your work as a means of communicating, measuring impact, and mobilizing resources
- Enable you to more effectively leverage the SDGs at the community level by providing practical advice and tools

The session will consist of one brief presentation, including insights from the article and case studies from leaders of community foundations, and two interactive break-out sessions emphasizing peer learning. The presentation will be recorded.
