These efforts aim to address the historical and ongoing racial injustices facing people of African descent in America. What are the investments and initiatives being funded by corporate philanthropies in response to these issues? How will these philanthropies continue to be responsive to current needs, while fulfilling their pledges to address historic under-funding of Black leaders and nonprofits? Objectives
Corporate Philanthropy Professionals who participate in this webinar will:
deepen understanding of ABFE’s Responsive Philanthropy in Black Communities (RPBC) framework to effectively fund Black communities (I attached a summary of our framework, for quick reference);
learn about successful corporate foundation strategies/collaboratives in support of our population; and
gauge interest in future networking and professional development opportunities re: corporate investments in Black populations.
