From the “what” to the “how” –
The renewal process of the Grantmakers East Forum
The pandemic has upset the day to day routines of nearly all of us, and made hosting in-person meetings and conferences virtually impossible, but the Grantmakers East Forum (GEF) has used this period as an opportunity for reflection and renewal and the time has now come to take stock of the outcomes of this work.
Sadly, due to the ever shifting safety measures across Europe, we have had to shift the format of the meeting online, but we are working hard to design a creative format that will enhance the discussions and interaction.
This meeting is a crucial stepping-stone as we move towards an important year for both the GEF and the EFC, as 2022 will mark the 25th anniversary of the GEF’s vibrant community. During this special year we would like to continue this important work by creating a space for a community of practitioners, and work together on reframing the purpose and methods of the forum. This work will leverage on the convergence between the EFC and Dafne, making a 2022 a transition year for all.
