WINGS invites you to our workshop “Creative advocacy and communications: Tools for raising philanthropy’s voice”
The training will focus on national-level advocacy and creative communications by grassroots philanthropic organisations related to shrinking civil society space and enabling environment for philanthropy, climate change, among others. Using current case studies, we will explore advocacy collective actions to address different kinds of legal and financial obstacles to philanthropic spaces. And a specific session will be dedicated to shaping your local advocacy project plans for financial support including through the WINGS regranting scheme.
It will be a seven-hour course (2 sessions of 3.5h each in 2 different time zones you can choose from) led by Casey Kelso , Senior Advocacy Officer of WINGS, together with prominent experts in advocacy and communication.
The training is free to WINGS members.
