‘Capital and Humanity’ is the theme of the Brazilian Philanthropy Forum 2021. This topic has been in the centre of debates across sectors and continents. Demonstrations around the world call for changes in the current capitalism model, which produces inequities and destroys natural resources. Movements such as Imperative 21, a campaign that aims to redefine capitalism and maximize shared well-being on a healthy planet, are emerging. The last World Economic Forum pointed to the need for a new commitment from capital, and the Covid-19 pandemic showed the power of collaboration between companies and philanthropy. This is the discussion we want to bring to the Forum´s 10th edition.
