The ninth annual Black Women in Philanthropy Leadership (BWIP) Retreat, an ABFE member-only event, will be held August 25th – 27th in San Diego, CA! This annual leadership event serves as a special time for Black women leaders in philanthropy to rest, regroup, and network in a sacred space of close, trusted friends, advisors, and colleagues in the field.
The program features a collection of dynamic speakers set to inspire and invigorate our lives and professions. Each retreat is uniquely designed to support and sustain the overall health and well- being of attendees as the core to leadership sustainability and development. The care and keeping of this community are critical to safeguarding the voice, activism, and humanity of Black women in the field of philanthropy.
Black Women in Philanthropy is designed for women in the following categories:
- C-Suite level executives ─ CEOs, CFOs, COOs, Executive Directors, Presidents, Senior Vice Presidents & Chief of Staffs
- Rising Sisters ─ ABFE Women Connecting Leaders Fellowship Program (CLFP) Fellows
