How can we multiply the effort made by child vaccination strategy?
”la Caixa” Foundation invites you to the virtual meeting organised as part of the United Nations’ ECOSOC Partnership Forum 2022.
We’ll be taking part in this session together with GAVI, the Vaccine Alliance, ISGlobal and IESE, in a meeting that will explain how long-term, multi-sectoral partnerships can lead to greater impact and systemic change in the area of child vaccination.
1. Theme of the forum: Building back better from the coronavirus disease COVID-19 while advancing the full implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
2. Side-event: Better together: the values and key points of the Vaccine Alliance in the context of Covid-19.
3. How and when: Online, February 2 at 1 pm 1.50 pm (EST).
4. Contribution to the UN 2022 ECOSOC Partnership Forum: In the context of the COVID-19 crisis, vaccines are the world's safest and most cost-effective investment to protect lives, especially children, from life-threatening diseases. They save more than five lives every minute preventing up to three million deaths a year, even before the arrival of COVID-19. This side-event aims to show how long-term and multisectoral partnerships, with allies from the public and private sectors, with a detected, analyzed and concrete cause, can favor a greater impact and favor systemic changes, in this case in the field of childhood vaccination.
