We’re happy to invite you to our first in-person annual meeting since 2017, at the American University in Cairo on Sept. 11–13, where we’ll bring together the region’s leading voices and organizations to discuss and collaborate on some of the most important issues in Arab philanthropy today.
Day One – Sept. 11 includes discussions on the future of philanthropy in 2040, the ability for green jobs to boost youth employment, why bridging the digital divide is key to education access, and the part Arab philanthropy can play in tackling the climate crisis.
Day Two – Sept. 12 sees us covering how to build lasting impact through trust-based philanthropy, the relationship between climate solutions and sustainable development, and the vital role of data in social impact, as well as our Members’ Meeting where you can find out what AFF has achieved over the past year and what we have planned for the year ahead.
Day Three – Sept. 13 we have two capacity development workshops on offer: a simulation session to give you a deeper understanding of the SDGs and guidance on how to advance philanthropic partnerships and collaboratives.
